As a classic Mercedes owner the post 1999 cars scare me. The newest I have owned was a '94 E320 Cabrio and I rebuilt the top hydraulics on it myself. I would totally buy a newer model for pennies on the dollar now because I have a reliably daily to use until I get the luxobarge running.

looks like the plastic tubs are removable and can be cleaned out.

and this is why Fiat will never grace my driveway

I have "town home" syndrome. I live in a town home and only have two garage spaces. 1 which the wife takes up and the other which is full of the other room mates stuff and a motorcycle. But I did just buy a '78 240D so this will be fun

the car that no longer impresses anyone, yet they continue to build it

I found one in the junkyard without any signs of damage. Made me sad

is this some sort of new body you can buy?

I pulled an OM606 Turbo from a junkyard car. It was pretty straight forward. I am guessing no one bothered to remove it because not many people carry eTorx in their junkyard tool box. This guy does

after the W124 it got complicated..

pick up truck owners really like advertising stuff they like on the rear glass.

If the cab is easy to remove then I wouldn't have an issue.

If I had a crack at it I could probably get it out in 6 hours the first time.

JK's aren't terrible. But they are over complicated from the factory for no explicit reason. I also like how the alternator is stupid expensive and there is no cross over. MOPAR : Proud of our parts

I did the starter, alternator, clutch conversion to solid flywheel, super charger, belt tensioner, water pump, crank pulley, plugs/wires/coil, and oil change over the span of two weeks.

and like everything that's marketed as"recycled, affordable, green"

damn it. I was waiting for it. Guess I'll spend my money elsewhere VW.

This is going to be incredibly useful in a Miata..........................................

And 3 minutes after reaching japan she was rule. 34'd

Jack Olsens garage is the pinnacle of an normal car guys garage. I will never have a spread like Leno or Ralph Lauren but I can easily aspire to make my two car garage into something of my own line Jacks. My dream garage will be a bit larger than a 2 car but not massive. Something I can afford but make my own

The sedans in good condition, depending on the engine type, do go for 3-5k( if love to find a mint 500E for $5k) But the cabriolets were a small production run. Around 8000 were made and imported and they are nice cars to drive. I miss my cabriolet.
