I was a bit confused when people were saying that motion controls were required. I tried it at gamestop and they had 2 playable options: joycons seperated and joycon grip. I tried both and noticed that the joycon grip just had the motion controls mapped so I felt like that’s how the whole game was going to be.

Well the Switch has 3 modes: Docked, handheld and tabletop.
