I find myself thinking that President Trump is not merely one of the worst people his generation produced, but the embodiment of the collective id of that generation. Thin-skinned, venal, looking for someone else to blame and so very, very scared of changes.

And really, it did innovate. The mechanics are better and more complicated (in a good way), and the guns are better. It didn’t remake the genre, but it’s even more fun to play. I say that at just 8 hours in or so, and haven’t unlocked a lot.

All I want from this game is more borderlands. Fuck innovation. Not every franchise needs a new gimmick. Give me updated graphics, tighten up the gunplay a bit, improve UI and character movement, and give me new story. They did that. Now they're getting my money.
