The suspension on this car is actually fairly soft. They’ve re-paved that curb since this was taken.

Cause this is what happened with my glass Miata window on the track...you better believe my next one was plastic. Also, over time the top will start to unseal from the heavy glass window anyway. Also easier to wear the zipper out. I liked my glass window more for sure but I don’t think they’re really that much more

Car ownership period is a financially awful move. UNLESS it’s for you to get a function out of it, such as using it for work or for pleasure. So, then the math becomes QUALITY OF DECISION=(FUNCTIONALITY/PRICE). One way to get that number favorable is to get price low. The other way is to get functionality high.

Absolutely. But it’s just about structured costs vs unknown costs. And about stress. I don’t ever want to be missing out on work or fun because I need to take my car to the shop unexpectedly etc. I also don’t want to be stranded.

Car operating costs go well beyond the payments in terms of fuel, maintenance, insurance,

You’re not allowed to bring kids on the back of that thing, for starters.

That being said a new car or a leased vehicle is going to have much more predictable costs than an older vehicle and so if you’re getting one that is well within your means then you can build it into your budget and never have to dip into savings for things like a large unexpected car repair.

I like my GTI a lot so I’d definitely be into a VW-built 240SX haha.

2-door he posted def isnt.

Is it called a 4Runner because the interior looks so dated?

Can’t help but notice he didn’t wear the maga hat to this interview...

Sure it’s not terrible, but you’d be better off with an iA sedan at that point.

I drive a manual in Bay Area traffic. I actually prefer a manual in traffic because it gives me something to do. Clutches on modern cars are very light.

I almost never see dealer badges or stickers in California. The plate frames are ubiquitous though.

Have fun when it leaks in 4 years.

That has to be the adjustment for the intermittent setting speed, not the sensitivity of the auto rain wipers, unless they’re tied together.

The MkIV Supra is ugly.

Oh man that first one with the Tesla wheels looks great.

Ugh Mercedes can’t build an attractive interior.

The ND Miata is 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. That’s pretty close...
