That said, Sumitomo makes a great cheap tire for a daily.

Miata rotors are so cheap I change them whenever I do brake pads...which is 2-3 times a year for the front and once a year for the rear.
It’s pretty good to drive for a vehicle that functional. Nice interior too.
They essentially are driving around with a human actually controlling the car and the sensors collecting data. Their cars require human intervention something like 5 times per minute.
Testing is gathering data to see how something performs. Data gathering is gathering data to build something that performs.
Always always always always take the fill plug off FIRST (or at least get it loose.)
They’re not testing, they’re basically data gathering.
Right but all of that should be reimbursable from work or billable to the client...depending on your industry and if you’re self-employed. But either way that’s a business expense.
I work with a guy who takes Lyft to and from work everyday. All the rides are under $15. Crunching the numbers on it with him, the subscription plan would save him about $50/month, at the cost of flexibility. Potentially worth it, but maybe not depending on the actual data. And he is like, the best-case I can think of…
Lol but if you tried to full-screen that video it’d turn into a tiny vertical box inside a horizontal box on your vertical screen. Landscape would’ve been preferable for this video. Small tilts can track the action fine.
Easy solution: partner with the companies already making rotrex superchargers for this thing to make it a TRD kit that won’t void the warranty.
I know that, which is why I wouldn’t compare the two. However, somebody did compare it to the Cayman, which also doesn’t have those things, so I thought it was worth mentioning that it’s probably not quite there. (Three fewer seats btw, not 2.)
His times are slower than me in my NA Miata, so probably not quite a Cayman...
I think he’s saying they’re not adding power to their car or addressing the mediocre torque curve that leads to an anemic driving experience. I’ve always thought that on paper 200HP should be plenty for that car. Then again people say the ND needs more power and it’s as fast to 60 as a GTI. But at least it’s getting…
The Miata with 155 HP is faster 0-60 and around a track than the 200HP BRZ, so adding 30 Hp would only widen that gap.
What about mid-engine AWD?
Volvo V50 and Audi A4 Allroad.
I live in NorCal and don’t use it but when I go to SoCal it comes fairly naturally.
Has everything to do with build-quality and track-worthiness of the car. The failure of the line could easily be connected to the oil being too hot. 105º day and inadequate cooling.
You’re telling me my Miata isn’t actually faster than all those Z06s I’ve been zoom-zooming around on trackdays?!
