And with the money you save by getting a Jeep you can afford to fix it multiple times a year.

“god attitude” I didn’t know my lord and savior Jesus Christ had returned as a bald F1 boss.
I’m sorry but Mclaren since Dennis took control is Ron Dennis. Some people will point out the Whitmarsh affair and say that shows Dennis can be crappy, but relationships with sponsors and more importantly power unit manufacturers like Honda Dennis just knows how to work.
I don’t like Ron, but I respect him. God attitude and approach are why the team is succeeding. They’re in a lull yeah, but that happens. Hopefully he’ll stay on.
Going to be fascinating to see what happens with this. Bruce McLaren may have started the company, but Ron Dennis is McLaren for better or worse. Even though it seems like there’s no way out, I’ve come to the conclusion over the years that it’s an unwise proposition to ever underestimate Ron Dennis as he’s been around…
Yeah, on the part of Honda/Acura.
R8 is in a class of functionality for engine and aero creates looks makes it look fine. 911 is simply a unique evolution of the VW Bug (this coming from a huge 911 fan) that looks great. Mclarens are trying to set their own paths of both performance and looks, as a lifelong Mclaren F1 fan going into auto manufacturing…
Ford wasn’t teasing us with the new GT for over a decade.
I don’t think it took Acura that long to develop the NSX, keeping in mind that the original idea, V10 FR, was scrapped around the time of the economic crisis. I’d wager five years maximum, a long time, yes, but the car was ready around 2014 and then scrapped again for a longitudinal engine setup. Actually, no, who am…
In being boring right?
It will never be the best of ‘16/’17, that I expected. But at the same time, 2008 and 2011 happened and there were far too may things that got in the way.
This. Honda/Acura doesn’t understand market relevance. NSX is trying to do too much, has lost its way.
Other manufacturers can roll out a new product much more quickly.
Well for about 50% more price and being about a decade newer, I’d hope so.
yeh as a engineer, it took too long. NSX is the Gran Turismo of cars. Took way too long and many delays. Forza comes out every 2 years and always better.
I don’t particularly find a car 3/4 of a second faster than a some decade old design that exciting. I also don’t find a car that is not particularly beautiful that enthralling either, even if its a decade old and fast.
GTR starts at $109k and is 10 years old but they developed it in the public while selling cars
It took 12 years to make!
