Counterpoint: I only enjoy said content because it’s free. I’m not willing to pay for it, and I’d rather stop watching altogether if it were subscription only.

What he does not bring up is that the majority of his audience is part of a group that generally does not have a large amount of spending cash on hand, but do have a relative large am0unt of free time.

But assume for a sec that you only watch PDP on Youtube, he’s the only person you care about. You pay $10 a month to Youtube just to watch him. How much of your $10 a month will actually go to him. Has Google explained the payment scheme? If you have 5% of the total views of Youtube Red content creators, do you get 5%…
