130 mph is nothing in these cars, and certainly also not hard to achieve on many of the roads they used. Being scared of speed is part of why we have the problems we do with driver education in this country. Is it super duper safe? No. Is it guaranteed fiery death? Absolutely not.
Yeah, those numbers are completely wrong. Germans are nothing if not methodical. The jump from Carrera to Carrera S won't be 130 horses, obviously. Furthermore, there won't be a liter of displacement difference between S and non-S models, and I highly doubt the non-S will shrink all the way to 2.9.
