WHY NOT JUST DROP THE LAST NAME AND BE A MONONYM?

Dear Hiroshi:

Looks good, impressed with the new standard AcuraWatch stuff, mileage seems decent though not really important. Would prefer worse mileage with regular gasoline than having to pay through the nose for premium.

I remember back in 1993 when my dad bought his Viper it was one of the earliest cars with a getrag 6-speed box. “6 speeds? That’s like a big rig” in your best bayou boy accent.

Yeah but their target market really loves dat chromes.

My plane in a box, girl....

Yeah I think Toyota has priced itself out of its market, or tried to make the land cruiser fit a higher market. Still glad it’s an option but I’d prefer a less expensive truck without all the bells and whistles.

As a person of American origin, I would think that all of these cars look pretty “nice.”

Yeah just messing with you. I wonder though if people would actually start depending on it, i.e., using it to brake for them instead of using the brakes themselves. It would have to be an almost autonomous system for it to not be abrubt and uncomfortable.

Yeah WTF is Jalopnik on the side of car guys or the EPA?

Acting like anybody cares about pedestrians, sheesh. Next you’re gonna tell us that cyclists need to be protected too.

Yeah just have to push a little harder.

Yeah, there’s a reason that you can buy a nice new Nissan in India for like $8,000 but the same thing here is $16,000.

Eventually every car will have it. And the guys still nursing their 1993 Volvos will probably be pretty decent drivers and not need it :)

Brakes are applied.

This is something that, I have to admit, I really don’t mind. I have been rear ended too many times. If this means I won’t get rear ended anymore I’m happy.

Damn, they’re gonna stretch this out like Joan Rivers. Concept 2020 Vision GT = Will actually arrive in 2020.

Rechecked my stats, you are correct! I think I must have been misreading autonews monthly numbers for annual numbers.

Less than that, it’s actually in the hundreds of units per year. First year of new model might break 1,000 but each subsequent year will be less.

Not plenty, only a few hundred a year! ;)
