Problem with this conspiracy theory is plenty of automakers did it the right way, and people still didn’t bite. Infiniti couldn’t justify bringing the manual back with the Q50. BMW offered the 6MT on the 340i AND xi..... no dice. Audi kept hope alive with the S4. Again, no takers. What makes you think things would

Not with a warranty. The Genesis Coupe with the 3.8L put down 295lb-ft. The 3.3T is a very underrated 370lb-ft. They probably would have needed a whole new box.

Yes, bulletproof once you pull the engine and swap the turbos lol. CP all day. The only Audi engine that seems worth buying is the supercharged 3.0 V6.

Well I look at it from a emissions reduction/$$$ perspective. In that context absolutely nothing is beating a very simple efficiency focused N/A engine paired with a powerful electric motor and right sized battery. The gains from diesel are marginal- Skyactiv-D shows that, and there is a ton of cost and complication

Never understood the point of Skyactiv-X. How good is HCCI really if it needs mild hybrid tech to hit its numbers? The 2.5T is way more interesting to US buyers.

Fake outrage over a dead car nobody was thinking about yesterday is right on time. Subcompact cars have run their course in the US. Anyone who needs an affordable car can buy the increasingly reliable and durable used cars on the market. The average car in the US is over 12 years old. And you don’t even get any fuel

Since when did being a car enthusiast become demanding everyone only drive what they need?

Agreed on both counts... I will be looking for this. And MotoGP coming back is just the kind of morale boost I need right now

Thing is, these haphazard half baked apologies are just expressions of regret for the consequences they face. This guy formed this world view over the course of his life....................... it will take years for him to truly unwind this way of thinking, if he ever does

He picks the most outrageous calls to paint a picture of the world that makes his listeners feel good. Couple that with his ridiculous rigid dogmas and the whole thing is a waste of time. Anything he has to say that's worth hearing is available elsewhere without his bullshit. I'm tired of him and his defenders

As you said, they are all cookie cutter, but the Kia is easily the best looking and most premium feeling in and out. I also heard it has the best packaging... it’s small outside but huge inside.

I did

I have no love for this vehicle, but I think it served an important niche in the market place. Sales continued to rise long after its debut.

Lets be honest, the people complaining the loudest are probably the least affected, myself included. Anyone still considering a non RWD 2 series BMW in 2020 is pretty much down for any shit the company flings.

All the more reason to do due diligence on where your ads will end up. Honda has the capacity to do that.

I feel like I’m missing something here. How is Honda pulling its ads from Facebook banning speech? And silence counts as speech too. Ask anyone who has been in a long term relationship.

Don’t know why people are surprised by this. A used Corolla or Camry cost about the same, get similar gas mileage, and for normal non contrarian Jalop star chasers are just much better cars. Why would any normal person buy a new Yaris over a used Camry/Corolla?

Jaguar needs a lot runway to get it's shit together... I don't wanna be the tarmac

Damn it, I came to post this.

Germans weren’t always performance focused. Especially Mercedes. They bought AMG in 1999. And the OG LS was literally an S-Class fighter. It absolutely embarrassed the W126 for half the price.
