Exactly! The defending team knows the rules. If they don’t know that there is a character that can sneak in an cap a fraction of a point, then thats their fault. It’s their fault for not leaving a defense there to prevent it. And if it happens to you multiple times, why haven’t you figured this out yet?

You are correct. The team who did not step on the point just needs to get good. No one defended the point, easy win. Seems fair to me.

Exactly. It isn’t like playing Sombra is a magic win or something, which is basically what the Gif would imply given no context. People need to wake up and remember there’s plenty of counters to stop it from happening, lol.

Agreed, and as someone who usually solo queues I’d actually prefer this if I was on the losing team as well. If we honestly couldn’t even set foot on the capture point, I’d like to move on to the next match as quickly as possible.

If I’m getting whomped in a match, I want it to end as quickly as possible so I get another chance at a victory. I’m ok with quick matches.

It feels like the sort of mistake people will just do at the beginning. The opposite team got in that position because they didn’t get any % of point when they attacked. Which makes it likely that they didn’t use any flankers, or the other team did one hell of a job defending it.

and can be easily countered by one person staying back on the point to contest preventing an invisible sombra to capture 1%

More engaging than letting it end in a draw. The new system needs tweaks but it’s better than what people had before.

Considering it’s for “competitive” fun and engaging are out the window. Who’s best? Sombra was best.

Still though, feels a little unfair, doesn’t it? There’s no margin for error, little hope of eking out a comeback.

Exactly! I see absolutely nothing wrong with that GIF.
If the previous team had a complete total shutout for the entire round, and didn’t even garner 1% touched on the objective, then, yeah... all the next team should have to do would be to NOT be shutout.

If one team doesn’t touch an objective, and the next team does,

Yeah, if only one person had stayed on the point it wouldn’t have happened. Which the opposite team probably did since they didn’t lose a single percent.

I read through all of these replies, and now I want one of those “all the ways” videos about the varied approaches to taking these two enemies out.

Wire and Blaze were my most precious resources.

This! 100% this! I love Zelda, but Horizon’s combat and enemies really shine.

Lol a behemoth killed both of the rockcrushers and I sat waaay back giving cover fire with a ravager turret lol maaaan or how about your first stalker encounter....but zelda has it beat in the world interactibility category

You need to have a friend to introduce the game to so you can live vicariously through them.

I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about, and whole heartedly agree

I haven’t finished quite yet, but I can say with some level of certainty that no fight compares to those two Corrupted Rockcrushers. Without standing on that rocky outcropping and playing the long, LONG game... I doubt I would have beaten them, ever.
