Interesting. I disliked BF1, but have found myself really enjoying BF5 as it feels much close to 3/4. Have you played lately? They’ve made a lot of tweaks to the weapons and vehicles that caused a big kerfuffle in the community, but I’ve actually found myself rather liking them as it’s easier for me to understand my

Curious what’s your take on Battlefield?  Ground War was CODS chance to move in on that territory, but I found it to be a hot mess comparatively.  I want to love it cos I prefer modern guns and whatnot, but I found myself rather quickly going back to Battlefield 5 because it just flows better.

I have mostly dropped Des2ny because of their FOMO design (sad tears), but if it’s gonna be implemented at all, I wish all devs would copy Battlefield’s model. Their pass is very take it or leave it with the weekly rewards, and then the ancillary season pass track. It feels very much like it’s designed for folks that

This is a great piece, with a killer concussion that leaves a lot to think about.

For Honor art?  Radical.  Need more of that please.

it’s rare that it’s not a hot topic of conversation among fans of Overwatch (or, well, any online game), and a boring one at that

“No bloom no sprint” is Reach multiplayer’s tagline

Heh. That’s basically the armor Osiris wears, minus the feathers and bird hat.

Wait, did you just spoil Spider-man? Damn it, I just bought that.

Also, don’t skip this one. The spoiler in question isn’t really so much a story beat as it is a gotcha moment, and the rest of the game (including the actual story), is fantastic.

How is this a cash grab? Don’t want PVE? Don’t buy OW2 and get all the MP improvements and updates at no cost. Want some PVE?  Buy OW2 and have fun.

Yup!  You’ll get all the PVP maps, modes, characters, engine improvements, gfx, etc. coming in OW2, even if you never buy it, assuming you own OW1.

This is nonsense. Everyone knows that the best licensed soundtrack of all time was from Wipeout. Obvs. This article is clearly a sham.

Hah! Well, we have an xbox at the office for lunch breaks. And I have a cool wife who doesn’t mind that I play in the evenings. Also, I would posit that my one kid versus your two makes a huge difference. And my commute is about 8 minutes.

I dunno man. Counterstrike isn’t popular still because of casual players. Dark Souls isn’t popular because of casual players. Obviously, it takes all kinds right? No game will succeed with a narrow demographic, but the games with long tails usually have some kind of high skill ceiling to keep hardcore players

Counterpoint: Those hard core kids (I am one, despite having a kid and owning a business and being married) are the ones that keep a game afloat. The folks that play casually and want welfare epics aren’t going to stick around.

I have that mouse. It’s the best. But Pro Tip: Disable the (or at least adjust) the DPI buttons. You’re gonna hit those by accident all the time and suddenly wonder why your aim went to shit.

There’s loads of pictures out there, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen some vids advertised on youtube, but I didn’t click them so I may be wrong on the account. But yes, It’s easy to find images of the maps and know what it looks like.

Question. How do these shows get away with making claims like this?

Wow really? That’s insane.

That reply from Soto is terrible. Calling into question the validity of the journalist reaching out to you, throwing backers under the bus, and admitting to trying to silence critics in order to distract from the simple fact that her client failed to deliver on the original timeline by an egregious amount of time.
