RPGs live and die by their story. Some games can get away without a compelling story, like The Elder Scrolls or Fallout games. There the games are specifically built to focus on exploration and side-quests. I don't even know what the main story in Skyrim is about, beyond yelling at dragons.

I see what you did there :)

'What was more fun about RPGs back then?'

He was younger.

Yeah, I'm not a runner =) but I find them to be by far the most annoying accessory I was expected to use as a parent. The stroller is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever faced.

The lack of original Borderlands (the still superior one in my book) is saddening.

However, local 4-player split screen makes up for it!

Story bounties - These days, I skip just about every story mission and strike bounty, unless it happens to be tied to the weekly strike or the daily story mission. Sure, most of them pay double the XP of the easier bounties, but they take so much longer that I can usually bang out at least two shorter bounties in the

So what games DO you enjoy? All I've seen coming out of you this entire time has been complaining about the games covered here. I know for a fact that there are other websites where you'd be able to discuss games you'll actually play. Why waste your time here?

11. The word "Tiny" is in the title of the game.

Hahah I thought the same thing reading this. I have become a much bigger fan of the site because they keep talking about the games I'm playing and not just giving release date updates.

The 1983 sit-down Star Wars vector graphic arcade game is everything to me. Now that we have a house, I have alerted my wife to the fact that I will be buying it at some point in the future.

I urge you to read The Fall of Reach, First Strike, and Ghosts of Onyx, THEN trudge through the environmental description porn of Bear's Forerunner books, and tell me which you find more entertaining. Don't get me wrong, Bear had some great ideas. They were just buried under a mountain of descriptive adjectives.

This looks insane.

The funny thing is, what they are doing in that gif is extremely inefficient in terms to get gear. What they should be doing is getting their rep up with a faction and getting vanguard/crucible marks for guaranteed legendaries.

I think you have a gross misunderstanding of what my job is. My job is not, for instance, to tell you if a subreddit is helpful or not. That's for you to decide. Just a fraction of my job, by the way, in that it is related to this discussion, is to share things that I find interesting. No matter the source. And, since

Which means communicating through emotes and dance parties! Also means no glimmer farming adverts filling up social hubs, and no glimmer sales possible. The loot is balanced so you regularly get useful drops, negating the need to trade. You can still give gear to your alts through the account-wide bank.

I'm Christian, and I didn't watch it, suspecting it was going to be handled extremely poorly, and as it turns out, it was. One of the worst things possible to portray or show is a strawman atheist. Does absolutely nothing for either Christians or atheists. Terrible stuff.

Save this crap for gawker. We don't need kotaku also tattling on every idiot that says something stupid.
