Welcome! I try (sometimes unsuccessfully) not to confuse “not to my tastes” with “I’m stating a fact.” And it’s always a personally interesting subject to me because I grew up being super into Phantasy Star and FF and anime and everything from Japan. And somewhere along the line just lost it, even though I still…
Oh man. That is the worst. You get a super sweet outfit in a game, put it on.....clipping issues. And then sad faces all around while you put your old boring looking threads back on.
Ah, well, that might be subjective. Glad you like her though!
Yeah, at the end of the day mechanics trump almost everything. I just keep watching gameplay and mildly cringing at a lot of stuff. And I’ve been around the block enough to know that will amplify when I’m actually playing the title. The character designs, the writing, the voice acting - it all feels very Japanese. …
Honestly, not really, and mostly for this reason. In my youth I was so into it, but somewhere along the way the general art direction found in Japanese games started to grate on me. I very much enjoy Platinum’s mechanics though, hence the temptation.
Man. I want to try this game and like it but I can’t get past the design of the main character. It’s just so silly looking.
the controls are significantly better, and you have a dodge roll on the right stick. But the fundamentals haven’t changed, so if you got bored of the game I’m not sure this will change that.
Yeah, it seems like something they could easily fix in a patch. Who knows the ways of Blizzard though. Probably too late at this point.
Gameplay wise, it’s better on a console. Which is crazy talk I know, but it’s true. It did however, lack seasons.
Wait. You backseat this dude for letting his 3 year old play games but then play Mordor in front of your 2 year old niece? Wut.
That would be 2 out of 3 then. Win the first round by shutting the other team down. Win the second round by getting to the objective.
They can’t all choose Sombra. Overwatch only let’s you have one hero per team in Comp and QP. And stacking your team at the choke is an almost sure fire way to lose if the attacking team gets a halfway decent pick. If that happens, then the team Defending on Round 2 made a tactical mistake and got outplayed. A…
It wasn’t lost in a single instant, nor was it lost because of a system. It was lost because one team was dominantly better than the other during the course of the entire match - don’t forget that they held the point in Round 1, preventing the enemy team from scoring. In the old Overwatch the best the losing team…
It’s the only question. It’s a deliberately competitive game mode where the goal is to beat the other team. If you want to just play for fun or practice go to QP or Arcade. And this wasn’t a system failure, it was a team failure. If the enemy team had been able to play well enough to reach the objective in Round…
Not if the opposing team is playing the objective they can’t. The not-sombra team lost because they played poorly and didn’t have anyone on the objective.
That Sombra GIF isn’t really BS though. The opposing team didn’t make it to the point, the Sombra did. They outplayed their opponents and got a win for it without cheating. That’s legit.
I remember sitting on my living room floor and boring over catalogues for hours. Great stuff
It’s definitely a good game, but I don’t know about technical marvel. The game chokes a lot for me and kills the frame rate. I’ll go with “mostly solid.”
Uncharted 4 as well. That game had crazy good facial animations and modeling.
