Yeah that’s fair. Different strokes and all that. Enjoy Zelda, and I hope Horizon blows your mind when you crack into it.

I was not into the idea of them at all, but wanted those weapons. I found 80% of them to be a breeze. FWIW.

Are you talking about the hunting grounds? If you get Blazing Suns on all the trials you 3 of the best weapons on the game. Plus, killing robot dinosaurs. Worth it.

For sure, but what I really want is to experience it all for the first time again.

I can’t stand this mechanic and I fear it’s going to ruin the game for me. Git a sweet weapon you want to use? Too bad you get punished for doing it. Good game, but there are some flaws holding it back, this being one of them.

I tamed the nearby Sawtooth and let him help me out. It was still a hell of a fight. I burned through so many wires for my different ‘casters.

Boy oh boy am I in love with this game. I beat it this weekend and am seriously in withdrawal. Trying to ease the pain with Zelda but it’s not working. Bokoblins just don’t cut the mustard after fighting a couple of Thunderjaws at once. Or a tag team of corrupted Rockcrushers. Eff those things.

Oh yeah. My little dude is a little over two now. Never had the witching hour to deal with, just a kid who never slept (still doesn’t really). I kinda don’t remember a lot of that first year of his life, it’s all just a weird sleepless haze.

No guru, just a patient and accommodating wife, who also works a ton and understands the need for “me time.”

Hah! See, I’m totally opposite. I have my original SNES and Genesis sitting in box waiting for him. He can even have them hooked up in his room! But I’m gonna try and take him through the decades of gaming as he grows.

The Hawkworld limited series is the best/right one btw.

Oh yeah. It’s the longest shortest time (which is the name of a great parenting podcast my wife listens to. I miss when my little dude was a tiny little thing, but his 2 year old version is a lot more fun and interactive. Plus only a few more years and I can teach him about Mario.

Oh I work. I own my own company. :) And I’m the dish doer and clothes washer etc. at home. Some days the dishes just don’t get done. But my wife likes that I have a passionate hobby so she helps me accommodate it a couple of times a week at least.

The flip side is, the older they get the more interactive your time with them becomes, and that’s rad. And then they still want to cuddle up in your lap at the end of the day. Best of both worlds.

Oh man. All of this is so, so true. And when they hit about 8 months you get to double down on all of these rules. The first few months of my sons life were heaven, baby sleeping on my chest while played games. Then he learned to walk. Then he went to one nap a day. Now he’s two and gaming is 100% maybe after he

This is the best shill ever.

And Lucio-oh’s!

Hah! I was like, I’M the unicorn? Homie here switches X like some kind of maniac...

I’m old. When i grew up most games were inverted by default. Also, in my brain the right stick is my head. Want to look up? Tilt your head back.

Wait. Off topic, but you *can or *can’t* invert the Y axis? Cos if you can’t it 100% guarantees i’ll never play this game. You’re wording seemed like make you meant to type can’t instead of can.
