I gotta admit, I want a 3DS for Mario and Zelda and that's about it. The other games don't interest me that much, so not having a circle pad prop isn't that big a deal. That said, just looked at the screen size difference and it's rather larger than I thought so I'll probably hold out for a good sale on the 3DS XL.

I probably wouldn't get a case/sleeve for it. I don't have those on any of my devices as I don't drop stuff, and generally use a messenger bag when I move around the world so I always have a place to put things.
