Or if you are just not very good at competitive shooters (like a lot of my friends, and sometimes me) you can play a round and have fun cos you got to shoot your gun a lot and kill stuff. It means that not so good players can actually play rather than get stuck in a spawn/die loop, and hardcore folks can farm bots

Huh. I don't remember that at all. Maybe I just held down the button.

Ah. I only used the server browser in BF3 so I would just find a match full of people and join that.

How do you melee someone in Battlefield and NOT kill them instantly? Honest question, i've only ever knifed dudes to death.

Ah. If i'm playing a third-person competitive shooter I get distracted by looking at my avatar, and annoyed that I have to play as "that person" instead of myself. I prefer first person for versus MP games, other than that I am impartial. Sooo, we might be opposites?

I think the idea that map packs divide the community is a bit of a myth. I mean, literally yes, there are now some people playing map packs, and some not. But (granted, in my experience), I never picked up DLC for Modern Warfare 1 and 2 or BF2 and never had a problem finding a match, even post all DLC releases. The

(Secretly, I do too!)

One hit melee kills have been in first person shooters forever. If you manage to get that close to someone without getting kills it's your reward. I can't actually think of an FPS game that doesn't have one hit kills right now, but my brain sucks today.

I hate it when my mech blows up. They should take that part of the game out.

Yeah, it's most definitely going to have map packs. I'm okay with that - if I hear good things about the maps I buy them. If not, I'm okay passing. I've played a number of shooter games where I never got the DLC maps and it didn't have a negative impact on my experience. Luckily, Respawn has said no weapon/burn

I don't know that I agree. I had the same feeling as you for maybe the first 2-3 hours of the game but the more I played and figured out the intricacies of moving around a map, different tactical tricks to fake out other players, and just generally got a good feel for how the game works the more in love with it I

I'm curious why you are anti first person view? Also, have you played it yet?

To each there own, eh? Not everything clicks with everyone. I personally love Borderlands and consider one of my top 3 franchises of the last generation. Can't wait for more. Plenty of huge games that people love turn me off. Something like GTA or Skyrim (to some extent, I weirdly pick it up for a few days every

Why? It can't be that it's "not cool," unless that is the reason? But that would be incredibly juvenile so it can't be that.

Why'd you have to go and bring up Shadowrun. Now I'm all sad and disappointed. That game should have been so awesome but it just…wasn't.

Man, there is nothing about GoT character design that warrants action figures. They're all just looking generic medieval/fantasy people. I don't get it, past just having a desire to own GoT stuff? Which, as someone who has tons of action figures and crap around his house, I can understand. But I at least want

Preferences, eh? Halo armor is generally some of my favorite in the industry exactly because it tends to be understated and practical looking. Which, in my opinion, makes it look wicked cool. Where as the stuff you mentioned liking I think looks silly and awful. Isaac's armor is one of the reason's I couldn't get

Assuming Spartans keep their armor "style," it can't be Kat. Helmet's all wrong.

Well done. Get 'em all riled up.

Huh. I felt like Uncharted 3 was the longest of them, but I also didn't like it very much so I was playing through a wall of boredom and a desire for it to end.
