You aren't missing anything if you skip Uncharted 3. Loved (loved, loved, loved) the first too. The 3rd was a chore - I almost didn't make it to the end and had to really power through the last half. And I kind of regret doing it, but I just kept expecting it to get good. Alas.

The original Wipeout.

You are today's favorite person for me. Of all the games. :)

The original Wipeout.

As someone who has long fallen out of favor with JRPG's, it still makes me sad when I think about what the Final Fantasy series used to be (I grew up playing them all, up through 8 and dabbled with 10) and what they have become. It's a shame.

Man, are in for a treat. The Gradius series is the best. And then track down a Genesis and play the Thunder Force games.

Ho-lee crap. This instantly became my most wanted toy of all time.

Oh man, that was my favorite thing about this game. It was a pretty normal, albeit awesome, shooter. Then it went all bootleg with the story and things got wild. Loved it from that moment on.

What? Sometimes people just don't like a show, or a thing, and if people are talking about it that opinion will be voiced. I don't have any interest in trying to make a better show, or forcing the creators to tailor to my desires, but if I'm talking about Walking Dead (or any other thing) I, and most people, will

They're actually not. Zenimax used the HeroEngine to prototype stuff and figure out what they wanted to do then wrote their own engine for ESO.

Man, that looks terrible. It's been a long time since I bothered to watch a trailer for an FF game, but they're are just as cheesy and awkward looking as I remember. The music, the dialogue, the weapons, the characterization - it all just seems so silly and overwrought! But, you know, opinions and all that. I'm

That's quit possible. The big issue for me was the "looseness" on the sticks. I had a lot of troubling getting my guy to go straight. That's one of my big pet peeves in gaming - when the sticks (the right one in particular) have that loose floating feel so I'm always sliding past the actual point I want. I'm not

I played the DR3 demo and didn't like. Something off about the controls.

What meaningful stuff did it have to say? Honest question, no snark. I've encountered few games that have a solid point or criticism on something past a vague "think about this stuff" point.

I couldn't stand the controls, I'm with you. And I hate GTA games to boot! They are a big pile of its time to take nap cos this is boring.

Me too man, me too.

Yessssss? I mean, I love it, but I'm not sure where your gaming tastes fall in the spectrum. It's definitely tough and quirky and not perfect, but it's a great game. And it's routinely on sale now for 20-30 bucks so why not? If you play for 4-5 hours and never touch it again I would say that's definitely worth the

I think you're actually agreeing with the OP. Half-Life relies heavily on it's art direction, so it's fair to say that it's a pretty stylized game. Stylized doesn't always have to mean cartoony. A game that pushes hard with solid art direction will almost always stand the test of time. It allows the developers to

Well played my friend, well played.

24 years later and I'm STILL playing Super Mario World. :)
