Starbound really is best with friends, both in terms of exploration and for base building. And now, with the latest patch (quite a revolution for the game), now is the best time. Everything is so fresh and so charming that it's hard to think that something else could compete.
Have you played since the latest big patch? Because it's a different game.
With the latest big patch for Starbound, I deem this game entirely unnecessary. SB is just so completely wonderful again—with actual dungeons (that are quite fun), and actual missions, and so much personality—my friends and I can't be bothered to try anything else in the genre for quite a long time.
Children of Morta appears to be a roguelike spliced with Hyper Light Drifter.

Are there any decent trade-in deals for 3DS XLs out there? I just got mine in July and I've felt kind of robbed with the whole situation.
My friend just got this exact model for SC; it works and I'm totally envious.
They're all using the light machine guns, so they're all just walking and holding down the trigger, eventually pulling off a win. If you play CS:GO it's just a wonderful bit of absurdity in an otherwise precise shooter.

Yeah, it's a little bit of an unfortunate situation, especially as I imagine, outside of FPSs like Planetside 2, fewer and fewer MMOs will be dedicated toward exploration and adventure—as opposed to flashpoint type gameplay.
It certainly isn't breaking new ground; it simply does everything very well—and with Final Fantasy style.
Those first fetch quests are really only there to show you around the city and give you some initial xp and money. I believe they are entirely optional. But if you can make it past those you'll find one of the better MMO experiences from recent years; although, I'm speaking from my experience playing only during the…
We'll see what systems emerge in Star Citizen for their multi-crew ships, but your dream could very well become a reality. And with SC's schedule you should have plenty of time to build your PC.
I actually haven't played through to this part yet. I simply saw an image from a part of the game I hadn't yet reached and saw in said image some explicit details that would constitute significant plot points. I did so with the intention that said image would be replaced with something still indicative of the game's…
