My first thought was “Well, that sounds lazy.” Then my second thought was “Oh, well, I guess I’m glad to see that a game that has a range of mechanics is actually going to let the player use them rather than punish the player for using them.” That second thought is entirely directed at the Dishonored series.

I think

Great piece! I had been holding off on Xenoblade 3 for a bit, but now I’m not sure I can wait much longer. I’ve been replaying Xenogears lately on my Vita (bless it’s little heart), and despite its flaws (and sometimes because of them), it really stands out to me as the grandest JRPG (sorry Suikoden). It has such

I’m sorry for all those eagerly awaiting the release, but am also a little relieved as I’ve just resubscribed after not playing since finishing Heavensward a few years ago. So I could use the extra time to get caught up!

Apparently November 27, 2004 was when it all began for me.

I’ve played it a decent amount lately with one of my friends and have really enjoyed it. With this Invictus week, it’s been really cool to see the larger ships finally in the game. I mean, yeah, it’s a poorly optimized, buggy mess--but still one you can have a lot of fun with.

I don’t know what it is, but I just think that the Canon sticker on Kaneda’s bike is the epitome of cool. I can’t explain it. And then just today, I saw this ad from ‘83:

There’s a vaguely similar perspective of Bolas on a card from 2017: https://www.trollandtoad.com/magic-the-gathering/hour-of-devastation-singles/nicol-bolas-the-deceiver-205-199-foil-planeswalker-deck-exclusive/1119951

Same. I had 200 hundred hours in long before full release, and I could just never get back into it. Those early hours encompassed some of my favorite gameplay moments of all time, though: an early bout with the bone dragon when a friend said “Hey, I want to try something,” and our fields of wheat burst into meteoric

PLEASE SOMEONE CHECK ON SEAN BEAN

I’m just hoping some other developers start throwing us some bones

In terms of games I never got to play even on the original Playstation, let’s also add Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 to the list as well.

I know for the Vita, there are specific titles you can only download from the PSN Store website (Suikoden 2 is the only one I can think of off the top of my head). What happens for those games?

Of course it’s buggy! It’s not done yet! That’s the entire point of letting people play it early - to have them find and report bugs, to add to the fix list!

I have always loved the idea of Roguelikes, but I’ve never really spent more than a few hours with any of them. I love the risk, the procedural aspects, the character-building, but nothing has really clicked before like Hades has.

Same here. I completed my payment yesterday. I have a 124,000. My profile is going to become a disaster.

If you stick with Chrome, I would also suggest something like Toby, which allows you to save an entire session to a nameable collection in your browser—which can then be reopened with a few clicks. You can also create easily searchable collections of bookmarks. It has some functionality issues but is pretty good

And let us pay full respect to one of the greatest final boss fight songs in gaming--that title!

Yo, Bernie, WTF?
