I 100% get you can’t make your kid act perfect all the time, but once it’s affecting me I no longer have to keep quiet.

So, I think something that parents have forgotten from their non-kid days is that often, maybe even most of the time, the non-parent giving the advice doesn’t care what you do with your kid, they are trying to find the most polite way possible to say ‘handle X issue and handle it now.’ They feel like it’s more polite

You just gave me a great idea

Yeah, I always heard it as “King Bowser” or “Big Bowser.”

I always heard “so long King Bowser.”  I didn’t even know this was in question.

“I have no idea why Twitch banned me.”

Okay backflip is on the list but handstand push up first. Both are required to make myself feel like a Z Fighter someday.

If no matter what happens you’re going to offend someone, choose to offend the fucking Nazis.

How the fuck is that hard to understand?

Its ok to offend racists. Fuck them. Why would you worry about offending them?

Bikes should not be on the road with cars period...I have NEVER seen one bicylist abide by any law on the road, but have ALWAYS seen them complain about cars...the_aught is absolutely correct and should run for office...

You can be dangerous to yourself on a bike with zero fault on the person driving the car. This ain’t a buck to be solely passed onto the driver.

when a cyclist does stupid shit to a car, maybe a dent.

You also can’t get mad at the lions for eating you if you jump in their cage.

So if you jump off a tall building to your death, are we blaming the sidewalk?

“You’ll always see articles about how bicycling is gentrification, how it’s for white male Spandex junkies, but that’s erasing people who work with their bikes and people in lower income neighborhoods, which tend to have more traffic fatalities anyway,” Bleiberg said.

^This. I believe bikes deserve grade-separated lanes because sharing a lane with buses and illegally-parked Ubers feels incredibly dangerous when I bike (and this is in one of the bike-friendliest cities in the US). However, as a pedestrian, I worry more about cyclists in the crosswalk than cars, because I have to

No, cyclists aren’t perfect, but only one party here is causing fatalities.

Nailed it, I definitely said there were fine people on both sides and not actually the exact opposite. But I guess I forgot that every cyclist is a perfect embodiment of good judgment and nary a bad word be said about them. By the way, using “fine people” rhetoric for this is dumb as shit.

It is tragic when someone dies so young and so randomly. Having said that, no amount of wishing will put bikes on equal footing with vehicle in the USA... and people on bikes need to drive that way.when I ride in the city I don’t act like another car. I don’t even act like a pedestrian. I act like the person at

I use government benefits all the time. I drive on the interstate to work every day, I have a fire department on-call just in case my house catches on fire, and I've got billions of dollars worth of jets and ships and military power defending me 24/7.
