I’m going to make that sandwich and maybe also finally watch Red Dwarf.

  • Which sandwich can you make better than anyone else? The traditional Thanksgiving leftover sandwich. The trick is to use literally everything that was part of dinner. Leaving any part of it out changes it to a turkey sandwich instead of a Thanksgiving sandwich.

I guess I was imagining that you thought it more like a soft-shell crab sandwich. I expected the “hot dog roll =/= bread thing” (don’t understand it, but that’s neither here nor there) but I’ve never heard anyone deny sandwichhood based upon the size of the filling.

I have to ask...what do you think a lobster roll is? Because what you described is already a lobster roll.

Counterpoint: gloppy soup is the best type of tomato soup.

As a man, it seems like that one guy would be way better off if the women ovulated at different times, rather than having to engage in a marathon of copulation.

That’s a really good point. I’m a straight male, loved this movie in my adolescence. Reading the comments, I was surprised that so many people saw this a different way than I did, and you put word to the reason why. Thank you.

Apparently my school made some solid decisions in not showing this to us.

What the hell did I just watch?

OT response: Ah humans, fantastic beasts that we are, who have managed to find ways to outdo ourselves in brutality. Top of the food chain, us. Alone in reason and philosophy, yet base in act and deed.

Like, maybe just over hyperbolic? By 50% or so?

Chilling story!

This might be my favorite this year. You tell this story very well!

Christ, I hadn’t even considered that. Great point. Horrible, terrible, no-good great point.

Ooh, wait, I heard this one somewhere. Let me find it.

7th Heaven: the only TV show where you troll comment boards by saying it was good.

Oh god, don’t tell me you’re one of those people who uses soap on their dishes. Just spray them down with water and they’re perfectly fine, thanks.

There’s a sign for one coming soon near me. It said “Now casting” and my wife and I were hoping it was like a dinner theatre thing...learning about it from this comment section is a bummer.

I’m not surprised - it doesn’t really come together well. It feels like a lot of interesting decisions were made - costumes, sets, songs, casting - but none of them gelled for me.
