When did I say anything about obligated or owing something?

I’m confused about this whole Oscars thing. Why are only black people the ones missing out here. I don’t see that many Oscars for ANY minorities.

How does society continue to act like it does? As far as I can tell there is a distinct change and progressive trend in modern society’s attitudes towards racism, cultural appropriation, etc over the decades.

Fair enough, although I would be surprised if there is any significant processing for the backlighting calculations. I don’t see why this backlighting or LCD pixels would be any slower in terms of setting color and brightness than a standard 60HZ or 120HZ TV though.

Agreed, but some backwards ass places (which religion is mostly irrelevant) do more backwards ass things than others. It’s not crazy to say that a group of people from a culture who treats women poorly are more likely to treat women poorly elsewhere. Women are treated poorly in a lot of fundamentalist Muslim societies and also in fundamentalist Christian/ extreme right wing societies.

It will be fine for gaming, this is just marketing speak for a fancier back-lighting system that can get brighter and be more localized (so darker blacks) allowing you to see more detail in the image.

But that has been true since the dawn of history, and the trend in rapes is going down. So it’s silly to ignore any spike in rape or sexual assault just because “it’s men duhhh” because you are ignoring an anomaly that could be prevented in the future.

So there can be no analysis of a spike in rape or sexual assault while the broader year over year trend continues to go down? We should just ignore that because obviously it’s just rape culture?

It is also important to point out that year over year all those stats are improving significantly and have been for decades. So while broadly it is a an issue specific to men, you can’t simply blame a spike in rapes or assaults on “men” since otherwise those prevailing trends would not exist.

I think these stun batons can withstand the blade since they have some sort of energy sheath when turned on. Lightsabers can’t slip through energy shields if I remember correctly.
