They also have what is essentially a monopoly on Internet service in Manhattan. Finally some neighborhoods have gotten Verizon FiOS, but it's taking forever! Verizon offers multiple times TWC speed (especially with matched up/down) for less money.

Empirically documented is not the same as affecting user experience. Sure the signal went down, like it does on any phone you grip tightly. However for just about everyone I spoke to (and there are/were a SHIT TON of people with the iPhone 4) who didn't read tech blogs, they didn't actually know what the problem was,…
You do realize the majority of the tweets in those hashtags are from black people right?
Considering I live in New York City, finding this question rude is bizarre to me.
A calculated and planned PR move by Apple.
Can you give me some examples of these problems? Most of the complaints from friends were primarily getting used to a slightly different UI, not problems with finding locations or lack of useful data.
Do they have ACTUAL problems getting around Maps or are they just repeating the same shit they read in the blogs?
I don't think they will.
How is it bullshit or hard? It is literally the same setup as with Google except you get to choose a local app to present the information. That is one more button press.
True, but it would have to have the same information presentation for public transportation everywhere. With local apps you can have the information presented in a more appropriate context, as well as being more likely to be accurate.
Right now I'm using Embark NYC since it is free, but it doesn't show the route on a map, so I am thinking of paying for Subway Q7 or another paid app with an integrated map.
Not sure what you mean. Once you have a compatible transit app it's just one extra click.
Still not having any major problems with Apple Maps. I found a nice integrated transportation app, so I have no transit problems, and I trust Apple to fix most major issues in major population areas over the next 6 months.
Go to Apple Maps and ask for transit directions. It opens up a list of Transit apps that are integrated with Apple Maps.
F/A-18s are very good at low-speed maneuvering, and are capable of carrying a significant payload of sensors. A good balance between the size of an F-15 and the nimbleness of an F-16.
Apple doesn't do "opt-in" for a basic app like Maps.
It is also worth checking out Alien Blue made by the same guy, a Reddit client built around the same UI scheme as Jasmine.
This is actually just a bug. Reinstalling the app should fix it, and Jase said the next update should take care of it.
