Meh, by the time I have kids the ability to detect disorders such as these will be so effective that you will easily be able to choose whether to continue the pregnancy or not. Hell, by then you will probably be able to choose haircolor, eyecolor, etc.

The fact that you actually think Apple hardware couldn't handle a different UI demonstrates how little you know about this subject.

This was a triumph.

"As a UI/UX designer you should hold customization in very high regard, yet you are downplaying the capability of something you are not invested in. Your attention to detail argument is hypocritical."

Except that it critiques it for being a rehash of existing things.

Way to not think about your answer before making an ass of yourself.

Nope, not a gimmick. For graphic designers, video editors, etc it is a major difference to be able to work on a full 1080p video while still having room for UI elements around it.

Keep in mind you are probably a tech-savvy user who knows the benefits of Android over iOS, and knows how to take advantage of them.

Show me a Windows laptop with a screen that comes even close in quality to the rMBP screen.

It really is absurdly good.

Except one is spent on killing people, while the other is spent on supporting people who don't have the means to support themselves.

The internet would have been developed without the military, it was an inevitable technology given what was available and being discussed at the time.

Please explain to me how the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are in ANY WAY protecting me.

I never said there weren't advantages on the other side. I love Android, and there are numerous features I wish iOS would borrow from it. I even specifically said in a previous comment that I understood why people like more open OSes, and I was an avid Windows users (and still am) for many years. I even appreciated

Right, the person who works on Windows, OSX, Android, AND iOS is the most invested Apple adherent on the web. Makes lots of sense.
