They specifically said the new iOS6 maps are entirely vector based.

I have never needed or seen that functionality on any phone.

It isn't needed in the slightest and goes directly against Apple's design philosophy.

Bing Maps also have a streetview system. You might have seen one of their cars.

Apparently the top bar now colors itself according to the color of the top menu in an app.

Show me a company where that doesn't happen with other software and hardware.

You mean like every company ever? This is one of the worst criticisms of Apple, particularly considering it basically relies on the "sheeple" point of view which is frankly insulting and ignorant of consumer behavior.

This makes me feel so bad for Android developers having to deal with all the different Android APIs, yet probably wanting to just use ICS.

Why wouldn't Apple make them? They make adaptors for many of their other proprietary ports.

My favorite part of the app is the ability to quickly narrow down to just unread mail, starred mail, or whatever I want.

Much better navigation between accounts and messages. Better labeling, deleting, archiving support for Gmail. Better composing controls and options.

Having just finished Voyager on Netflix, I thank you for this reference.

I use Clear for quick lists as well, but am debating what to use for actual to-dos. Right now my choices are the Apple Reminders app (because of Siri integration), Remember the Milk, and Any.DO.
