Also, no Whataburger.

Haven't read any of the replies, and I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but if they pull this off they almost HAVE to give Darko the last spot on their bench, right? I mean you can't pass up having the top 5 picks from the 2003 draft on the same team.

There's plenty of logo's designed by firms that are terrible. In this case spending more doesn't always get you more. For a team with a very limited budget, like I'm guessing Louisville City has, this seems like a great way to find a good logo.

What was that a 10 pitch at-bat? And it took 5 minutes.... The more things change...

Do ref's get fined for making bad calls when video evidence shows they weren't even looking at the supposed foul?

Given this science it makes sense hockey players wouldn't cramp nearly as often, they're not as big as their NBA & NFL counterparts.

I suppose if you wanted it to fail you could do it like that, or you could add a dash of common sense and extra analysis. I didn't realize you'd take this so literal, it was a suggestion for how to determine a minimum price.

"It's pretty easy to see what the average ticket prices are for previous big events"

NCAA hockey is quite popular, too. It's almost like you don't need fighting for hockey to work.... strange.

I agree. Poor StubHub... it's not like they could have prevented this, and now he's dragging their sweet ol' name through the mud. I only personally know a half-dozen or so people who have had horrible experiences with StubHub... they just don't deserve this!

So why wouldn't StubHub set minimum's to prevent this from happening? Seems like it'd be in their best interest.

Why is it his fault? If StubHub doesn't want this to happen they should set minimum prices for certain events. Yes, I'm sure he knew it was a mistake somewhere along the line, but it wasn't his. StubHub should get him some comped tickets and then fix their service. It's pretty easy to see what the average ticket

Terrific.

I was going to ask if the Ecuador player had a serious injury, too.... because it sure looks like it.

Well it's easy to be prescient when you cover your bases by predicting everything.

Just would like to say I really enjoy most of your work, Barry. I'd also like to ask if Deadspin still pays this fellow to write for them?

Pretty easy argument could be made that this sort of practice actually damages your long-term profits.

How does this happen? How does it even get to that point? You'd think someone along the way would say, "wait a second, the Dolphins are a successful, profitable organization, why are we doing this?" and that people would agree and decide not to do that horrible thing.

TOUCHDOWN!

Evidently our schools need to start teaching the difference between free speech and free from consequence. Yes, you can say almost anything you like in this country. But ALSO, when you say things, they could have a negative impact on your life. SURPRISE!
