I’m not sure about intentional fouls on fast breaks. But you entirely put a stop to tactical fouling of bad free throw shooters by simply giving the the offensive team the option of retaining possession with a reset shot clock instead of shooting free throws for any off-the-ball fouls.

If it’s not deflected there’s an easy tap in anyway. Guessing it doesn’t matter unless Yedlin actually clears it. Letting it through was a goal.

Maybe he burst photo back when this was taken so there’s a few almost identical versions. He just picked the wrong one from before so they’re off by milliseconds. The tall person is blocking the view of the short person in one, but since they’re moving the perspective changes enough in the second one for the shorter

Slide seemed the opposite of dirty. He didn’t leave the baseline. And he didn’t even slide to the bag, much less through it. He stops a few feet short. If anything Profar collided with him because he expected an aggressive slide and that didn’t happen. Not sure what else he could have done to make it safer besides

Lebron going from Kyrie to Wall doesn’t seem like something he’d be into.

I’m distracted by how nice this facility is. Better than more than a few low D1 schools....

Turok, Star Fox, 1080, and Perfect Dark (when it worked) were some personal favorites.

A guy who didn’t get in last year is hovering around 95% of the vote this year. If that’s not a big, bright, flashing neon sign that this shit is broken than nothing is.

What do their industries have to do with anything?

I bet you fucking hate newspapers. “I only like 3 of these stories! I do I turn this shit off?!”

I think about how as humans we’re basically right about everything in science until we find out we’re wrong. Not giving this guy any credibility, just saying while it’s more likely he is a quack, there’s also a non-zero chance some of this ideas are right.

Hard to blame a heavily intoxicated guy for mimicking his favorite team.

I, too, feel a little nervous about these devices. But I always come back to the fact that I have, like almost everyone else, have a phone (or tablet, computer, etc.) that’s already very capable of doing the thing we’re worried about these devices doing.

Why do so many gun nuts completely ignore the fact that making something more difficult means less people will do it. It doesn’t matter what it is. It moves the line. Harder to do = less people doing it. It’s common sense.

I read this and think of trying to convince people like a guy I once argued with, who defended the banning of fireworks “because they cause forest fires” but not guns. I sarcastically suggested that “fireworks don’t start fires, people do, just like guns don’t kill people!” He thought those two ideas were completely

You do realize that these “conservative” speakers are 100% allowed to speak, but also that people are 100% allowed to protest them, right?

These feels like a dumb baseball thing. The game was a blowout. The dunk was fun. Fans of both teams should be able to enjoy that.

All the time. And it’s so annoying. It’s like the worst deja vu. “Oh yeah, this shit is really happening, really. That guy is the President. For fuck’s sake” It happens less often but it still happens, 10 months on, and it’s still just as shocking and unbelievable as the first time.

Team up or not I’m don’t think it matters. The pay-in and pay-outs will favor the house so they don’t have to worry about it. Now, you could simply wait for a streak of low payouts before hopping in, hoping to have a chance at the big payout coming up, and then, assuming you’re good, winning it. So “sharks” will

I heard he has the best snake oil, though.
