Actually these replay's would likely not slow down the game. A manager blowing his lid over a terrible call could be reduced to a simple challenge and 90 seconds or so of review. Instead of a tantrum and ejection that can delay the game for several minutes.

I'm on the A-Rod side. The way I look at it is either way A-Rod's career is over, or very nearly over. I'd much rather see Selig and the MLB eat it on this appeal than A-Rod be pushed out of a game that's almost done with him anyway.
