It better not be GM. I am constantly surprised by FCA’s ability to not screw up the Jeep brand, and I’m not exactly convinced that any other car company could pull that off. I’m still not exactly convinced that FCA can pull it off either. I guess we’ll see when the new Wrangler rolls off the line.

I remember that. It’s actually one of the primary cases that led to the establishment of the new sections 34/35 in the criminal code. Thankfully he was eventually acquitted on all charges... but it’s absolutely ridiculous that the law ever supported his arrest to begin with. I like the way the law stands now... I

No one is saying that would be reasonable. I’m just responding specifically to your assertion of “You cannot use that gun for anything other than target practice, and that includes self defense. That gun is for target practice and target practice only. No exceptions. Not even if its life or death.”

Your understanding of Canadian laws is pretty sketchy. You most certainly CAN defend yourself with a firearm if it is life or death. Straight from the Canadian Criminal Code:

There are a few situations where a stick comes in handy, but for the most part the auto is better.

The only “reports” of it not having a manual came from you and other automotive “journalists” like you extrapolating baselessly on a Q and A session.

I am the target audience for full size LD trucks. And that thing is incredibly ugly.

I firmly believe that everything done at Jiffy lube should be considered routine maintenance, and done at home.

How does it wheel. This is “Truck Yeah” after all...

Too true. Ran into this issue when I went to buy mine... Used 2011 or older with the 3.8, a 4 speed auto, and low milage or new with the Pentastar 3.6, honking mercedes 5 speed auto, and full warranty, built to my specs... difference of around $5k. No brainer.

Interesting... but I have some doubts. Three piece steel hard top? Riiigggghhhttt.....

Well no shit. Look at how many soccer moms drive 4 door Saharas around. The reason the Jeep has mass market appeal is because it is the vehicle that appeals to people who actually go off road. Those people want stick shift wranglers. Disappointing the off roaders in the Jeep crowd by making the wrangler soft will

I have never seen that before... I don’t know what to feel.

Used to work at an open pit gold mine, and part of my duties included driving on the haul roads.

One continuous piece of glass? Jesus... wonder how much that would cost to replace after a wayward stone cracks it...

When I lifted my Jeep, the steering wheel was off centre. I tried to recentre it myself, but went a little too far the other way. The procedure is only two bolts, and a twist, but you can’t tell how close you are to centre until you start driving. I was stopping by the dealership to grab a part that finally came in,

I would imagine conquest sales would primarily be from the LR4, in both the Luxury and 4x4 markets.

I agree with you on everything but the Diesel. Modern diesels simply aren’t worth it. These days a gas station is very rarely that far away. If gas stations are that few and far between, chances are you’re not getting any diesel that a modern engine will run on anyway. I’d rather carry extra fuel filters for a

If you think that no one would spend $50k+ on a Rubicon GC, I’d argue that you don’t know the “overland” crowd very well. Titanium sporks for everyone! Snorkel all the things! Taking a gravel road today? Bust out the khaki shorts and floppy hats! A fire road 20 minutes from the house? Better instagram my EPIC

I have to admit... I have a soft spot for the Commander. Then again, I usually have a soft spot for the, uh... “worse” 4x4s. Probably comes from owning a Rubicon on 35s.
