The Renegade is not based off the Panda. It's based off the Fiat 500L. Everything else you said seems reasonable, although my internal calculator was clearly off for the pounds conversion. So I will ammend to say that the Trailhawk will likely only be a few thousand more, and all the other things I said still stand.

He too old.

The Renegade is coming soon, and should be comparable. Also £16,000 is a lot of money for not a lot of car. The Renegade Trailhawk will probably be less than that, more capable, and more practical.

Hang on a second... the plane brought down into the Hudson ingested friggin Canada Geese into its engine. Plane engines are made with bird strikes in mind (there is actually a test of each engine for this purpose), and I highly doubt birds this small were going to take down a commercial airliner.

Import to "Truck Yeah" please.

Negative. My beef isn't with height, or with the fact that they are mounted in the bumper. It's with where they are mounted within the bumper. It's very easy to start sliding down a hill without control when you're seriously off road. It only takes a minor misjudgement when you're riding the edge of capability.

You just took their marketing hook, line, and sinker.

"Articulation abilities seem to be similar too; Expedition's approach angle is 22.5º, departure is 20.3º, and the ramp breakover is 15.3º on the 220.8"-long EL. A 224.4" Suburban can approach at 15.5º and departure angle is 21.1º."

I am a Jeep guy, for better or worse. I state that as a cold fact, not as a prideful boast. My Jeep is pinstriped. My bumpers live up to that name on the trail. The trunk is full of recovery gear, survival gear, etc. My moments spent on the highway are spent dreaming about off highway adventures. I state this to

Jesus christ. Coming from someone who actually uses their off road vehicle off the damn road; they could not have picked a worse spot to put the headlights. Tweak your bumper? Headlights completely out of whack, if not downright broken. And yes, I know mog bumpers have had the lights in them before, but if you

And holy Hannah, have you seen the options list on the Ram 2500? It's nuts, and still comes out as cheaper than the Ford.

A Ferrari story, and a Tesla story back to back... in which neither car caught fire! Champagne for everyone!

Wait, it didn't catch fire? I thought all Teslas caught fire?

Those Autoblog idiots lost me when they started comparing this Body on Frame, Solid Rear Axle pickup to the abomination that is the Honda Ridgeline. This is a true truck, with low range (on the non AWD model), and an optional locking rear differential.

That is fucking heart breaking. Here's hoping the Jalop army can do some good on this.

As a motorcycle rider, fuck both those turning drivers.

That would be location dependant. For example, where I live, waiting in the intersection on green for your chance to turn is perfectly legal and acceptable.

Warning: People dun got fucked up during the making of this video.

Any new word on the Xterra?

Your definition of "affordable" makes me feel broke as fuck.
