Break it off. Seriously.
"Why is this news?" to me, really means, "Why don't you just shut up? I don't want to hear things you view as important."
Non-consensual assisted suicide.
"...I was with the only two real black people in the room (mixed races exclude)"
"I'm not crazy about what he did..."
You might want to address this with your former professor...maybe even ask if she was "kidding" or being sarcastic/retweeting some misogynist posts from somewhere? Also, maybe unfriend?
"Awww, OMG, look at that little guy! He's so darn cute! Is he flying with you?"
Phutt's presence makes perfect sense to me. Not just because it's for lingerie, but because of the way the ad campaign is being implemented - men are being encouraged to upload/tweet/share their own stories of how the women in their lives are beautiful on the inside. Having the ad narrated by a man gives a sort of…
You're really overthinking this. Its a man telling a story about his friend, and why he thinks she's a beautiful human being. He even says explicitly that she is very ordinary and not beautiful-looking, but that it is her heart that makes her beautiful. Testimonials are fairly common narratives, I don't think it…
The ad campaign is titled "My Woman is Beautiful." That is why the narration is from Phutt's perspective. A man recognizes and appreciates multiple facets of a woman's beauty through aspects of her character rather than her physical appearance alone, I fail to see the controversy here.

Maybe this will stop the Lorde Age Truthers who believe she's actually a 35 year old pretending to be 17. Hint: it won't stop the Lorde Age Truthers.
Me too! Unlike the others, a broken leg is an actual problem that kids who are into doctors and hospitals can "solve".
It is possible to think that a person is nice and good and has made positive contributions to the world AND be critical of the culture that elevates that person's contributions above the contributions of marginalized groups who have been trying to be heard for decades. It is possible to happy on an individual level…
I am a grown ass adult and do not know if I would have the mental wherewithal to go back into a fiery building to rescue someone. I hope his family can take some solace in knowing that their child was an awesome person during his too short life.
UUUGGGGGGHHH. Sads. I hope this story gains traction and Animal Planet does something about it. In the meantime, I'll stick to binge-watching episodes of "Too Cute" where I can watch puppies and kittens try to climb furniture while I eat cookie dough without pants on.
