Eh, the Cosby show has Cosby front and center, meaning, you watch it, you see his face constantly.

Allen’s faced one questionable accusation. Huge difference.
Yes! And how come R. Kelly still has a successful career?
Also, Cosby is a much bigger in front of the camera star, it is currently in the media as there are on-going cases, 7th Heaven is actually off the air, and out of all the scumbags Allen is the one scumbag who was never charged, and the sheer amount of women Cosby assaulted...the comparison falls apart pretty quickly…
I think part of the reason is that Bill Cosby stars front and center of The Cosby Show. He is visible in almost every scene. Someone can watch Chinatown and have no idea that it was directed by a person who would be arrested for rape if he ever set foot in the US again (Polanski).
Because Polanski and Allen never pretended to be anyone’s role model. Also, they were not associatted with children’s entertainment.
Can the cast do a civil suit against Cosby for lost income? I mean, nothing like more lawsuits but think this is a way some of them could recoup their income if they really wanted.
One? no. However I don’t think there’s an extensive ongoing legal effort to cover up their crimes.
Yeah that puzzled me too, I know it was pulled off the are widely when the story hit, but had no idea it had come back.
As far as I can tell, the only place that still airs it that is even remotely notable is Up TV, which is the basicest of basic cable.
Maybe a few local stations are airing it in syndication here and…
I’m not going to touch Woody Allen, but as far as Polanski...
I don’t think that this is a race issue. I’m pretty sure Woody Allen and Polanski are guilty, and in an ideal world they would be prosecuted. But they didn’t have a public persona like Cosby and not how many victims 50 plus? condemning him. Cosby spent years portraying himself as a benevolent dad or “friend” character…
I think part of this is that we never expected Stephen Collins or Woody Allen to be pious, perfect men. Cosby, on the other hand, portrayed himself as such for a lot of years. It’s the hypocrisy.
Get over yourself. I’m a Hillary supporter that plans on voting with the party.
Read McNally’s text messages and come up with something rational other than “Tom Brady was actively getting Pats employees to fuck with footballs in exchange for shoes/cash/ect” whether or not they did it at the AFC Title game, probably didn’t since the Ravens tipped their hand and the Colts announced they wanted a…
Never underestimate the blindspot that Patriots fans have for the rules when it involves their team.
Shutup, Tom.
This idea has an unfortunate drawback - you’re still assuming that force-birthers can be swayed by reason. They don’t care about the facts, they don’t care about people who don’t agree with them, the only thing they care about is forcing other people to do what they want.
I think any committee member who supports this must be required to give the names of all family members, and themselves if applicable, who have benefitted in any way from stem cell research.
These people do not care about safety of anyone involved. They got caught showing their asses and now EVERYONE must pay. GOP is using this to manipulate Christians and uneducated people into thinking they are protecting babies but they are just ensuring the 1% stay rich and in complete control. If people die its just…
No shit, Sherlock.
