I completely agree, as nothing here really happens quickly, and if it does it's usually something injurious.

On the "feel good" statement, I was talking about the legislator making the rule, and the buyer buying the car. Certainly a pedestrian would feel better about getting hurt less haha.

That honestly would be extremely simple. If a given vehicle doesn't meet the US requirements, simply have the buyer sign a document that protects the seller and automaker them from any litigation involving injuries as a result of the non-met standards.

The Limited and Longhorn interiors are gorgeous and definitely feel robust and durable, which is more than I can say for the GM trucks. I checked a couple out on the lot the other day and they still feel flimsy. Where they used the new soft-touch materials it wasn't any better either, just felt rubbery and cheap.

Haha that's very true. Texas is so massive that we literally have five different climate regions that represent a solid majority of the rest country's climates. That's a great truck my friend. Since Fiat took over and Ram split from the Dodge marque, the trucks have made massive improvements, both in quality and styling. The interiors are seriously impressive, I think much nicer than even the brand new Chevy and GMC redesigns.

I hate console shifters in trucks, like the F-150. Hate them. They take up too much space and just feel wrong! These column shifters are comfortable, useful, and do the same damn thing.

For real? It's absolutely gorgeous right now. During the summer, nice and hot, good times on the lake, and plenty of scantily clad women, (beautiful Texas women, mind you). During the fall, some of the most absurdly perfect weather anywhere. Winter, not so cold, occasional snow, and it's back to spring and summer!
