Besides the wheels, I find it a good looking car. No carbon fiber, no useless interior work, no wings, no outrageous body kits. I hate to use the word clean, but it's pretty fucking clean.

@Piloter: That just means they can do stupid things at faster speeds. Or crash quicker in wet conditions, since wider tires have a bad habit of hydroplaning.
@Piloter: Your stance is pretty fucking silly, if you ask me. It's pretty unrealistic to expect manufacturers to put DOT legal tires that can contain 400+ hp in all situations, including a clutch dump in a turn. Tire width incurs it's own dangers as well.
@pauljones: "Electronically assisted", not electronic steering. Likely it's an electric power steering setup, with some computer control (variable ratio?)
@pauljones: It's entirely possible the trans is double overdrive. Like the CRX HF, or Cadillac Escalade's 6pd auto, the last two gears are over drive. One that's geared to be a "regular" over drive, and a super tall over drive for flat land and high speeds.
They know we fed up
Regarding the Buick, the point is it's cheap, fucking comfortable, and will run for ever. Probably one of the best used cars you can pick up, being reasonably efficient, cheap to insure, and very reliable.
@spiegel1: I had this car! Errr... Book!
@rontele: Those Ss get wavy. You can bet that 1st turn is a blast to run up at 1xx speed.
Doesn't work for me, even with google chrome. Just opens a few 1in square boxes, and plays music.
F is for FUCK YEAH
"We are the #1 Viper dealer in the country"
@Drujon: Well, in that case, remove children from just about any outdoor activity. Yup, that'll do it.
This is a pretty common thing when dealerships get hot cars. They usually roll it in with the Pre-destination-inspection.
The drive-in is alive and very well in Texas. We have the largest number of them than any other state. The CST10 is a drive-in magnet. Vintage truck at a vintage movie venue. It's large LWB bed and original bench seat make for a "redneck living room" for everyone to hang out. Park another truck a car width away (and…
@mechimike: I'd say 69-70 is the end of the plateau
C pillar is not the "last" pillar, it's the 3rd from the front. A, B, C, D for some SUVs and what not that stretch out that far.
@Rufus760: You're overlooking one of the greatest "drivers" cars ever produced.
@00MustangGT: Rear hatch.
Now that I live in a much more urban area, don't think I haven't contemplated doing this with the CRX on street parking. Space ain't long enough for the car's length, but sure as shit is for the car's width! And the CRX ain't even that long, may not even be in the way of traffic if I get between two SUVs.
