I just bought a 2013 Cabriolet - without leather or the upgraded wheels for - $16.5k.

I just sold my 2003 540i 6/mt M-Tech after 2.5 years of ownership and 97k miles on the clock. In that time i can say it was easily the least dependable car and most expensive to maintain car I've ever owned. (I've owned several bmws in the past.) Also, tons of plastic and rubber parts are notorious for failure.
