I know Iron Man 2 got a little over-heavy on the Avengers stuff, but I still liked it as much as the first, if for different reasons.

Sounds intriguing, so long as Moore stays away from "it was really God all along" stories.
Was it just me, or did the FBI guy's killer look like a woman in the shadows? I could have sworn. H.G. or some one else?
@RetroGuy: Makes you wonder why the whole business hasn't just moved to a contractor model. Companies can peak when they need, and devs can move ro where the money is, from game to game. Seems like it would be easier for everyone involved.
This. Is. Awesome.
Loved the episode. The body switching made me immediately think of the Farscape episode, which I think pulled it off even better.
@Cjay79: I always found it hilarious that Robin Hood keeps getting played by someone other than a brit (except in the BBC series).
@WookieLifeDay: Just her overall look, and I hated Thunderdome. I thought it was a disappointing sequel. Hopefully the new one will re-capture the awesomeness of the first 2.
@Tyrunn: Agreed. For any movie you can find someone that loved it and someone that hated it, so the key to reviews is to find someone with similar tastes in movies as you. I usually already know which movies I'm going to see, regardless of reviews, but if I'm on the fence, I may pop over to rotten tomatoes to see if…
@WookieLifeDay: Yeah, my vote is no Khan, except maybe the camero kind. That might be cool.
@WookieLifeDay: Yeah, hopefully he just meant where DK was more layered, nuanced and complex, with a thematic point to the story (and not just fun visuals), rather than just being dark and broody cause it's the hot trend.
@Tyrunn: I really don't know how these keep going. Someone must be paying to see it, but I have no idea who.
@Dr Emilio Lizardo: It may be about the shiny and the happy, but that doesn't mean it doesn't come without cost (e.g. Wrath of Khan, First Contact). After all, a recurring theme of Trek is personal sacrifice ("The needs of the many..."). Hopefully they don't confuse that with dark and broody.
@WookieLifeDay: That shit always freaks me out.
@Arken: Not enough angst.
@Ravennl: A bit cliche perhaps, but valid nonetheless: What about Wrath of Khan? I think the story was first and foremost, and the reason it has endured so long as the best Trek film.
I know it's easy to blame Hollywood for all this, and certainly they share a portion of the blame, but the fact of the matter is, they wouldn't be doing it of people didn't keep buying it (both the toys and the movie). They're just following the money.
The movie was way over-advertised within the geek community, and hardly at all anywhere else. We may be a very vocal genre of fans, but we're not the most numerous. It needs the mainstream to make the big opening splashes.
@RizzRustbolt: And to think my guidance counselor never thought I'd amount to anything.
Hmmm, well. How do you end a big action movie with a dramatic negotiation?
