@SG-17: They already have, thus the communicating stones.

@drummrx: Really? Wow, you held out longer than me. X3 did it for me.
@ManchuCandidate: "All these worlds are yours..."
As much as I like Vaughn, I just can't get excited about an X-men prequel. We already know where these guys end up, and who's going to the villain? Magneto again? I'd just rather wipe away X3 and continue on with a new group and a couple holdovers.
@Honu Harry: You're all assuming Fox gives a shit about the actual comics' stories and continuity.
@ManchuCandidate: ROFL.
@syafiqjabar of Mars: Apparently all that icky stuff will happen off-camera. I assume Meyer wrote it in so her books would be taken more seriously (look, it's dark now!), but the fact that the movie is scared to show it for fear of alienating the fans (which all have already read the book anyway...) proves the whole…
@Doctor How: Wow, that's like, wow. Six degrees of David Tennent.
I love how they're always trying to "update" films or characters, especially when dealing with remakes or movies set in ye olden times (like Cap). Most of the time "updating" just seems to mean giving them an ipod.
@Belabras: Belabras, I may have to kiss you. I'd never even heard of this.
Man, sometimes I miss my D&D days.
I'll take this to be an absolute vision of the future until someone proves to me otherwise.
Sun Tzu all the way.
@Mark 2000: Don't you know? Cartoons are only for children. No adult would ever take them seriously, no matter how well made or the subject matter.
@a.seivewright: Actually, I much preferred the 9/10th song version better.
@GusF: So, if the 2001 version introduced you, I assume by now you've gone back and seen the originals (at the very least, the first one)?
@ExtensionOfBob: And why is this a phenomenon again? Everything I hear about it (my wife's read the first one) seems to be aiming to set the women's movement back 50 years.

@AldoraGreel: Alas, I fear our pleas fall on deaf ears.
