@atrus123: Man I can't wait for Game of Thrones. But I don't get HBO, so I don't know what to do. I hate to pay for it just for one show...
@atrus123: Man I can't wait for Game of Thrones. But I don't get HBO, so I don't know what to do. I hate to pay for it just for one show...
@Illundiel: I see my mistake. I made it sound like I actually watch the show anymore. I stopped somewhere around season seven. And from the little nuggets like above, thank God I stopped. It just boggles my mind that they will show third or fourth tier supporting characters, no matter how silly, yet won't show…
@atrus123: I don't know how I lived before a DVR. They were dark, medieval times, subject to network programmer's every whim and advertisements. But now I am free! Freeeeeee!
@Kitradu: It's the same woman. Rhona Mitra (and if you're a fan, you simply MUST checkout Doomsday). I suspect we'll see her in the first episode back on Universe, but probably not after that.
Is that...is that robotic sperm in that last Dr. Who pic?
"As Jack Burton always says-"
@JabbaB: THANK YOU. Been looking for a pic of that all day. Everyone apparently hates Sony. Too bad it's the ugliest one of the three...I'll still be getting it, though.
As amazing as it seems now, I can kind of understand it. I mean, talk about a dense novel, I can see how it would definitely have been a tough sell.
@ggodo: You know what else is fun? Go back and see Liam "badass" Neeson in Krull.
@ggodo: Go watch a crazy little 80's sci-fi flick called Lifeforce and see if you still think that about him (for the record, I do, but man, that's one crazy movie).
Damn thing sounds as annoying as the vuvuzelas.
Ok, first let me get my old man grump out of the way:
@Skunky: Godspeed.
Unfortunately, there are gameplay trailers out for this, and it's not looking good. While they may have the look nailed down, it's looking repetitive and boring, and may not even have any lightcycle races (unconfirmed, though), you just race through Tron City.
Maybe Planet of the Apes: Rise of the Apes is really just Splice 2...
So....Hank McCoy aka Beast will show up in the X-men's first class... and then just dissappear for X-men 1 and 2 before popping back up in 3? Yes, yes, I'm sure you could come up with something to explain why he was gone, but you'd just be reaching, it's not like he was ever referenced or seen. There's no continuity…
@GodofMonkeys: Lol. I was thinking the same thing.
@Malcontent79: For further evidence, I give you Vader in the prequels.
I'd link to it if I could from work, but there's an excellent scene in a Simpsons episode where Homer is walking out of Empire and complaining about the big reveal in front of the line waiting to see it next.
But, sweet jeebus, a little care to protect but the inherent value of the franchise — as well as the eventual enjoyment of said franchise — would be nice.
