60 pounds in a year at that weight is nothing. While an improvement, he's still clearly eating far too much crap. He could eat close to whopping 3000 calories with little to no exercise and lose 2 pounds a weak at his current weight. He could diet at McDonalds without skipping a meal and still do what he did.
