Remember when Michelle Wie as a 15 or 16 year old tried to play on the PGA Tour? Yah, didn't work out so hot. You have no idea what you are talking about.

If she can hold a green from 190 yards out on greens set up for Majors I will shut up but it ain't happening.
Um you do realize women play from tees further up. Sometimes the tee location takes out hazards that the back tees have to deal with. This includes yards to carry to the fairway, trees and angles for the second shot. This girl will be crushed when she has to play the Open course.
This doesn't legitimize women's golf. What does an 11 year old qualifying say about the state of women's golf? She is going to get crushed when she has to play the actual Open course.
Yes, yes it is. I don't know. We'll see. Maybe it's an inferiority complex I've built up but I'm crossing my fingers.
Worst case these kids come out with World Cup experience. Absolute best case they sneak through on the other teams beating each other up.
Naw, it's a tough draw. Especially having history with Ghana. You're right in not outright dismissing the notion but also right in being not overly optimistic. I give it a 5% chance they make it out of the group stage.
God I love Minor League baseball!
I'm a Sox fan and I think Avila is one of the toughest sons of guns in the game.
You're right. Sorry, the guys on the runners sub forum have just taken the torch of villanization and ran with it. Just a bit defensive at this point.
I own two pairs of VFF's and love every second of it. It took a while to ease into it and yes there was a calf pain but that was because it was weak. Take the time to build them up and it will be fine.
I saw him debate John Edwards when I was in Colorado and man that guy was a smooth talker. Completely soulless but I can see how he can have a sway over people.
They wanted to make sure they knew the value of their pick if anyone wanted to trade back into the first round.
Vodka Samm approves.
Haha, well Hamilton Nolan writes about investments and markets which I happen to have large amounts of my money tied up in, and this guy writes about running and I happen to care a lot about minimalist shoes.
Try New Balance Minimus Cross Trainers. More of a traditional shoe with a 4 mm heel drop and a Vibram sole. I love my pair and wear em all the time.
Damnit, totally missed the chance to say, thank you for choo choo choosing my post!
I am as right as the football in the groin guy is funny!
You're all or nothing stance is becoming as grating as Hamilton Nolan's style. It's not that you have bad ideas but can you work on delivering it in a more even manner?
I split the difference by buying a pair of New Balance Minimus Cross Trainers and absolutely love them. Used to have Five Fingers but they just look so goofy. I transitioned by walking a few miles each day and can already feel it in my calves. Can't wait to run.
