ICE has always been “on the case”...they were just called INS before 20 years ago.  The penalty for illegally crossing our borders has always been deportation...just like in practically every other country on Earth.

Capriciously passing a law that affects American citizens is a complete false equivalency to enforcing immigration laws that have been on the books for decades.  

So talking about the government enforcing immigration laws that have been on the books for decades = Nazi. Gotcha.

So wanting existing laws enforced = white supremacist?  Wow, talk about unhinged.

So nobody should ever get deported. If you make it, you can stay forever, regardless of documentation or authorization. I’m totally against the family separations at the border, BTW, but common sense says immigration laws have to be enforced, both for the individual and the employer.  We can’t absorb the entire world.

Man some of you guys are amazing. Personal attacks in response to a benign reply to a comment referencing deportations and you throw out all of the insults. I know it’s been tough since 2016, but get a handle on yourself.  Things will be ok.

If Miguel is in fact an illegal immigrant, then he should be.  I know enforcing immigration law isn’t popular on Jezebel (Cars edition), but the majority of Americans actually support enforcing laws.
