I’ve had this same thought. The police have completely deviated from the purpose they should serve. They’re a gang that’s impossible to punish. They need to be completely replaced with something else.

Is there any legal way to eliminate the police as we currently endure them, and replace them with a proper constabulary of decent people, well trained and compassionate to other human beings? Because, as it is now, frankly, the blue line is dark burgandy from all of the blood of the innocent.
You forgot to add in where cops nationwide defend this while they get all sanctimonious about how they’re the thin blue line and no one can possibly understand the stress the job puts them through, so people need to cut them some slack when they gun down a deaf man with a metal cane.
The better advise, imho, is to get seats as close to the boarding door as possible (most often in the front of the plane). You can easily have a ‘short’ layover if you can get off the plane quickly. If you’re stuck in the back of the plane, then you’re fucked.
Can cars equiped with ABS leave skid marks? Just as the investigators stated, there’s definitely a ravine about 300' past the level ground after the paved runway.
That’s a completely fair attitude to take (and a safe one for personal safety). That said, if more citizens exercised their rights, maybe exercising them wouldn’t be met with such a suspicious response =\. In that light, exercising them just ‘because I can’ helps to normalize it for folks who need to exercise them for…
Not true! Plenty of people that are completely innocent were falsely convicted because they were just trying to be cooperative. They knew they were innocent, what could it hurt?
My guess is the burnout melted or kicked some debris up and damaged a fuel line which spewed fuel on the spinning tire which was enough to ignite it and send it shooting.
Because cops here believe they exist to protect each other instead of serving the public. It’s them against us so regardless of our innocence, we’re all suspects until we prove otherwise.
Once Payne and his superior who pushed him are fired and unable to find another job, then I’ll believe in that “goodness of society”.
Texas resident here. Nobody is filling up their cars in fear of paying an extra $5 per fill up. People are filling up because gas is getting impossible to find. I would gladly pay 2008 prices for gas right now.
There would be no panic buying if prices were allowed to rise. When prices are not allowed to rise, there is a very legitimate fear of running out.
This is the 3rd world America we now live in... even the person filming already had a shattered windshield! And they drove right into what was very obviously about to be a huge crash. I would have been following from much, much further back. Morons everywhere.
Boats, pools, and horses. Things that you throw money at and the smart thing is to find someone who owns one and make friends with them.
That’s irrelevant. What you should be asking is, who manufactured the vehicle and why is the manufacture associated with such a horrific event? Also, do they condemn it? If not, then then we need to organize a social media backlash campaign.
I wonder what correlation CNN will be able to form between this attack and our president.
This is just another example of people getting all bend out of shape and offended about something that if they took 2 seconds to do some research would see wtf is going on....
Dodge is truly gonna be Demonized for this. Shame, really.
People are fucking stupid.
There was time for the cop to move around someone getting into the left lane, it was the sudden change of lane that was the problem....well and speeding for no legal reason obviously.
