Good thing he used your info to correct his work that he gets paid to write.

THANK YOU!!! It’s a trickle down thing. The restaurant probably has to pay an arm and a leg for the retail space, so that cost gets passed to the consumer. That’s why food is more expensive in the city vs the suburbs. Retail space costs more...

Is it extortion or is there a cost adder due to the extra security measures an airport Popeye’s (presumably) has to go through that the one down the street doesn’t?

I’m not saying it’s justified, but part of the puzzle is that airports know they’re renting out space in a captive environment as well. Even if every store in an airport was operating at cost, it’d still be noticeably more than outside. You’ll never get a $6 sandwich for $6. Maybe $8 or $9 though.

WHY DID YOU TURN?! WHY THE F*CK DID YOU TURN THE CAMERA SIDEWAYS?!

He tried to paraphrase what Politico wrote and failed. Here’s the original:

“What is so concerning about this incident is that had VT Halter waited just five more months for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to finish its investigation, the company would have found out that they were sending Ates to his death.”

You did figure out that they were only ticketed once they were exposed by an independent civilian investigation and not because the other police who saw them using these plates did anything about it, right?

I don’t know why it is so surprising, but I’ll say it again: Laws do not apply to cops.

I know! Can you imagine the public, who’s trust you are expected to have unconditionally and automatically, expecting you to follow the very laws you are sworn to uphold? What a crock. 🙄

Those dimpled ramps are for sight impaired drivers, not traction. I learned that today. ;)

Now, it should be noted that you could gear a riding lawn mower low enough to get a “good” 0-60 time

fun fact; the little spots on the Corvette’s rear window are tiny Corvette logos.

I thought the point of generational ships is for extremely long trips, such as when you’re going slower than light.

Ground Fault ? Zap ?

I was completely blown away that this guy got out of his vehicle and stood between it and the concrete wall after his pickup had been repeatedly slammed into the wall. I was just waiting for one of those big waves to come by and crush him between the pickup and wall.

tow drivers are crazy for constructive criticism - that would have really lifted his spirits.

Looks like a grab and run repossession. He’ll likely square it away once he is out of sight of the very recently previous owner.
