When I am Running Things™, the money currently being wasted on crossing arms will be spent instead on reinforcing the front of trains, and grief counseling for the engineers. It's not like they come from an unexpected direction, and it's not like there aren't warning lights on every crossing.

Salad = slang for lettuce, tomato, and pickles

Thrust vectoring FTW!

Thanks for the link! An excellent example of runaway arbitrage.

Here's the actual answer: Automated arbitrage.

An excellent introduction to the DASH program! My father worked as an ET on these helicopters while serving in the US Navy off the coast of Vietnam, and I heard many DASH tales while I was growing up. I also saw endless home movies of DASH flight operations, and one project my dad and I keep promising to work on is

Cordless angle grinder FTW.

That's my point, exactly. LiveLeak does nothing, literally nothing, other than steal videos from other places and repost them. Using their shitlinks rewards them for creating nothing of value, and slapping their watermark on other people's content.

Next up: "Man invents revolutionary new device that allows people to ascend steep slopes via a series of flat terraces placed at convenient intervals - calls it 'stairs'"

I didn't even need to click to see this was another video stolen by the assholes at LiveLeak. Is this literally all you do, Raphael? Sit at your computer and hit F5 on LiveLeak until something comes up that you can repost?

I dare you to make less sense.

Only to hipsters, Mike.

Speaking of "Greyhound of the Skies," I would much rather fly in a clapped-out MD-80 than a brand-new Airbus of any sort. How a huge multinational manufacturer can turn out airplanes that are, frankly, shitboxes when they are brand new is baffling.

Ah, I see LiveLeak's check has cleared and you are back to pushing traffic to those content-stealing assholes...

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Go look at some of the other, unpopular nonsense I've come up with!

Yes, my bad - the correct terminology for this is "vertical replenishment" or VERTREP.

Please.

Y0u really don't want that. Most of my ideas are very, very bad.

Having a loved one die is certainly unfortunate, tragic, and sad, but not only is the airline on solid ground sticking to their fare policies - I'd go as far as to say that it's wrong to try to shame them into doing "the right thing." Let's save the internet bullying for when a company does something truly wrong
