Eh? There was supposed to be an inage with that, Jalopnik...

Autozam AZ-1. Your argument is invalid. =)

Truer words were never spoken. I'd vote this #1 all day, but insulting someone's baby won't win AOTD, and let's face it - Kinja is Gawker's pugly baby.

Curious... why didn't Bricklin just use gas struts for the doors like everybody else?

Now playing

If we're lying about the sound, I'd love to get the computer to lie about the displacement too. I'm thinking about replacing the sounds with something more like this...

No love for MAKS? Honestly, firing a rocket off of the back of the world's largest plane to avoid a standing start does have it's advantages...

The greatest tank of all time. When the Germans had 300 tanks on the Eastern Front, the Soviets were making 1,200 of these beasts a month.

Over-correction. Happens every day.

Honestly, I think this would be brilliant in a closed loop system, IE "stadium to parking" or "airport terminal to airport terminal". Lots of capacity, lots of doors, low driver to passenger ratio (ie you can have more busses!)

*Practical, and we don't want practical per se, we want simple and useable. A KTM Crossbow (X-bow?) isn't practical and I sure as hell want one... or I did until Jeremy Clarkson showed how hard it was to do anything with the computer system. A car you can't start isn't a car. A commenting system that you can't use

What happened to the "show all on one page" thingy?

What happened to the "everything on one page" links? Those made it very handy browsing on a tablet. #rant

Simple. I once read of a man who made a homemade tractor using bits of old Chevys and Dodges. He had two transmissions as he needed a lot of low down torque "grunt" but still needed to drive his creation down the road from field to field at 55 MPH.

I'm surprised just for general wtf-ness that no one has mentioned r/FifthWorldPics. Found it via BoinbBoing, and just like a train wreck I ... cant... stop... watching.

I think the original version was worse for the environment...

This would also be handy for riding in weather. Rainy and slick? Deflate a little. Snowy and slick? Deflate a lot. Hit a clear patch/weather clears? Inflate.

I can say it was one heck of a party. I'm just disappointed you didn't include "we need help, they are playing tug o war with our hose!" So far that's the winner of the radio chatter.

Pfft. Wake me when someone once again drafts behind a moving train at 100 MPH. Bonus points if it's behind a steam engine as the air passing beneath the engine and car will carry hot cinders with it.

Wow. I never thought I'd see a picture of the Big Four Bridge in a thread about a Japanese bridge...
