The first sentence is an MLK quote, btw. The point is that outside domestic violence and rape (crimes generally committed against women) it's incredibly rare for the victims to be blamed.

Tried playing the game. It works for a few moves and then grinds to a halt. An apt metaphor for peace in the region.
It would look like something designed by people who had an original idea or concept that they felt would be engaging to the audience. Not something crowdsourced from a crap commenting system.
I think, regardless of her being on SBTB, she still would have been on 90210.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important. Unless, I'm seen in the white neighborhood, or holding hands with a white woman, or just generally being upitty. Then, well I kind of provoked my lyncher, no?
Suspension would have been longer if Rice wasn't wearing his pink gloves

That 21-15-9 snatch workout is the one I always mention when I criticize CrossFit. It's just terrible. The snatch is meant to be a powerful, quick movement with a fair amount of weight. Using it as some sort of lightweight, cardio workout makes no sense. They are way better things you can do to improve your…
CrossFit wouldn't help you with ANW, mainly because you'd end up with muscles in the lower half of your body and that only hurts you on the different hanging obstacles. Elite rock climbers would be better suited to it.
If the report is that a standard sponsorship clause was exercised and no-one kicked up a fuss, why would you? If Nike tried to protest, sure. If addidas made them cover the logo of their corporate hq, sure.
Perhaps the dumbest headline possible for an exceptionally dull article. Kudos, I guess.
I don't worry about language. Or at least cursing. If she fires off a racial slur (no hip hop with her in the car, after she had a spirited sing a long with "Benz Friends") that would be a concern.
I see it from people who move to the hinterlands and then try to convince anyone who will listen that it's not so bad.
that stuff is generally inconsequential. But people seem to not count driving to the train station, waiting for the train and then walking from the train to the office.
I was driving my daughter, who was 2.5 at the time, home from school on a snowy day. Thinking she'd get a kick out of me sliding the car around, we drifted around the corner. From the back I heard "Oooooh fuck." Then a short pause, and "Jesus!"
This, along with the lies people tell about their commute drive me nuts. Oh, your commute is only 30 minutes? So why are you leaving the house at 6:40 and showing up at work at 7:30? Oh, the 30 minutes is just how long you are on the train. I see.
Don't forget to infantilize.
Sleep training has other options beyond cry it out. After 8 months of co-sleeping we used the gradual retreat method. It took about 6 weeks, and did have some trying nights. But our kid sleeps exclusively in her bed, 11-12 hours per night and has for 2 and a half years now.
Just keep putting them on Deadspin. I'm sure the attention will cause others to reconsider.
I saw a guy 5 putt once on a course that was being prepped for a tournament. He snapped his putter over his knee. The went to his bag, snapped a wedge. Tried to snap another wedge, but failed. Hurled that one into a bunker. Then kicked his bag over and stormed into the parking lot and drove away.
