We miss the movie going experience so damn much that we jumped at the chance when our local Cinemark offered this as a private screening. $150+ tax and your party of up to 20 trusted masked friends & family have the run of the auditorium. No way were we doing a theatre otherwise - too risky.

I too hoped for novelizations - especially for ‘High Life’ because I need to know what happened to Monte and Willow.

That scene is particularly impactful. I can see why he decided to leave it as-is.

I think they pulled back the ceiling as well (or brought in - it’s been so long). We did the ‘behind the scenes’ tour and it was well worth it. Hands down the best effect ever. They even mentioned that an unintended side effect of the wall slides was the cool whoosh of air, that helped sell it even more.
