Never fired, though.

Which is still an issue, because you have to fire gas backwards at the same time you fire a bullet forwards.  Any motion, any momentum in space that isn’t carefully controlled can send you spinning.

You’d definitely need some sort of friction-less or near friction-less gun if you’re firing a bullet of some sort. Maybe a railgun could work, but then you’re right back to the power issue that lasers would face. Maybe some sort of pellet gun could work, but the accuracy would be pretty crap since there’s no rifling.

All of that is very different from the proposition of strapping a submachine gun to a satellite to shoot other satellites though. For starters, planets and asteroids are much, much larger than a satellite and we can visually confirm their location; what’s more typically the satellite is orbiting the planet or asteroid

Submachine guns would be incredibly stupid. The idea behind a submachine gun is to lay down small caliber automatic fire, but in space the firing of a gun would create enough kickback that would send the satellite spinning, causing it to, at the least, cease to be accurate in firing further bullets and possibly

Here’s the sad fact that everyone is ignoring: the “gig economy” wouldn’t exist if our economic reality wasn’t so shitty.  With virtually no safety nets, pretty much everyone in America needs a job, immediately, maybe even two jobs, if they lose or can’t get a “good” job.  If people could feed themselves and their

So uhhh….humans aren’t really supposed to go through those machines right?  Did that kid just get a big dose of radiation?

Fixed the headline for you.

Facebook clearly wants to make research into their shady garbage business as difficult as possible.

Okay, let me see if I can run through the logic here.

I’d love to, if YouTube’s algorithm was shoving this shit in our faces.  The algorithm is the biggest reason why this is a problem.

Because YouTube will shove this stuff in your face via their algorithm. Watch a video about video games and next up on auto-play may be some alt-right bullshit about “SJWs ruining video games”. Let it keep rolling and you may get some offensive views on immigrants. Let it keep rolling and you may find yourself with an

I didn’t even hear that Defiant was shutting down.  That really sucks, even though Hand of Fate wasn’t quite my cup of a tea, it was great to see developers trying something new and different.

That’s neat and all but...

Why didn’t they play this game in an actual soccer stadium? DC United has a shiny new one.  Oh yeah, because money.

Just pay people a straight forward fair wage and ditch tipping.  Anything else allows for dumb fuckery like this shit.

Let’s get this out of the way, the idea that the $60 price point is what causes all these micro transactions and other nonsense is...bullshit. Yes, the price hasn’t changed much, but the audience is so much wider. What has jumped up since $60 became the standard are CEO salaries and marketing budgets; a decade ago you

I knew it was a mistake for them to hire Werner Herzog as social media manager.

Probably multiple owners.
