The problem for the Telltale lawsuit is what while the California WARN act doesn’t have an exception for “financial hardship” it does have one for “employer seeking capital”.  Rumor has it they thought they had a loan from Lionsgate, but Lionsgate backed out; if that’s true then Telltale may be exempt.  There’s

Burning an effigy is a pretty fucked up thing to do for a football game anyway, whether the player is white or black. Burning things in effigy has meaning, you’re showing how much you hate that person or thing in real life!  Iraqis weren’t burning effigies of GW Bush for funsies!  The fact that it’s a bunch of white

I was interested in Artifact, until I heard their pricing structure. Then I was just like:

Well hey, at least Ronaldo can ditch those gay rumors now right?  Silver linings for a rapist! /s

That and British driving laws a little more strict than ours.  Each speeding penalty is 3 points, get 12 points in 3 years and you’ll be temporarily banned from driving for 6 months.  What’s more, once you’re disqualified for 2 months or more, you have to get a new license and possibly take a new driving test as well;

There was a time when boxing and R rated movies were pretty much the only reason to have HBO, but it’s fair to say that HBO has moved on since then.  HBO is much more of a cool TV shows network now, Game of Thrones, Westworld, Last Week Tonight, The Sopranos, etc. etc.

McClesky, the player in question, has left the fucking school you dimwit. Gundy threatened to ban any reporter that asked him, the coach, about said player. Now do you get it?

Why the fuck does a high school need an athletic director?  This school, according to Google, has about 1,200 students, there cannot be that much sports being played that they need a fucking athletic director.

There are capes/long jackets that keep flapping after you jump, same thing maybe.

When the coach told you to practice checking your line, that’s not what he meant!

The only thing I’ve ever seen Chevy Chase in that I liked him in (not the people working with him, but the man himself) was Three Amigos.  I don’t get the love for the Vacation movies and while he was fine in Community, the reason to watch it was not because Chevy Chase was in it.  Quite frankly, I mostly agree with

As someone who wasn’t around when Chevy Chase was a thing, I always thought I was alone in being mostly unamused by his “comedy”.  Glad to know I’m not the only one.

I’m American too, and you’re wrong.

I find it interesting that Nero now looks pretty much identical to Dante at the end of the DmC reboot.

This is not correct, at least in the US.  In the US the central franchise hub, such as the NFL or the NBA, technically makes no money.  After costs, they redistribute money to franchises (and therefore to owners) and then the franchises/owners pay the taxes.  Now, about that tax rate and exemptions they can get...

That’s a problem with your government, not the sport. If the money wasn’t on offer from crooked politicians, billionaires wouldn’t come forth with a hand out asking for money.

The esports teams are draining money from the main team’s budget, that’s their complaint.  Most of these guys probably already have season tickets, so they essentially got in “for free” and then threw things on the field in protest.  Pretty common in European football, at least they weren’t throwing bananas at black

I mean, FIFA doesn’t have a lot to do with teams at this level. Most places follow FIFA’s rules of the games and each national football assocation (or FA) has ties to it, but the Allsvenska, the Swedish top pro league, is largely independent on the Swedish national FA. Protesting FIFA’s actions and corruption at a
